Tsovinar Kirakosian

About

Tsovinar Kirakosian joined the College of Oriental Studies in 2019. Currently, she is a Lecturer and a Researcher at the College of Oriental Studies of Russian-Armenian University (RAU). She received a BA Degree in Oriental Studies from Yerevan State University (2014) and an MA Degree in Political Science and International Affairs from the American University of Armenia (AUA) (2017). Currently, Tsovinar Kirakosian is a Ph.D. student at the RAU. Prior to joining Russian-Armenian University, Tsovinar Kirakosian worked as a Research Assistant at AUA (2016-2017). Ms. Kirakosian’s areas of teaching include Modern Turkish Language,  Political Parties in the Ottoman Empire, and the Republic of Turkey.  Her main field of academic interest is the issues of the ethnoreligious composition of the Republic of Turkey. She is also an Editor of Iran and the Caucasus (Brill: Leiden-Boston) international academic journal.
